My breeding is based on two lovely danish bitches imported from the danish Gembaek kennels in 2002 and 2004. All my dogs are family in the first and everything else takes a backseat to it. So we may have one or two litters a year if all goes well.

I only plan a litter if I can make sure that the puppys can be taken care of all day long and get the best socialisation possible. I use studdogs that are of high quality and fit my idea of a perfect match for a certain bitch. With the temperament & health being the most important. I keep in touch with all my Puppy buyers and give advice and help whenever needed on a lifelong base..

After the puppy moves into the new family i have puppymeetings arranged at our place for training, ect.  I also maintain a  e-mail group namend "Highbend ´s Puppy- Talk" where everybody involved can chat about their pup. There´s only two offical clubs in Germany to breed Golden Retrievers. The DRC and the GRC, please be aware that there are other clubs that claim to be official but aren`t in the FCI. In Germany it´s important one breeds under VDH/ FCI Regulations as there´s many massbreeders.
