We are breeding Golden Retrievers under the FCI registred affix HIGHBEND`s in the "Deutschen Retriever Club". Registered in 2003 with our first litter being born late in 2004. 

I am also a member of the GRC (Germany), of the  swedish Golden Klubben & of the Golden Retriever Club (England) & Awaiting conformation in the ÖRC (Austria). Our first litter was born late in 2004 and to this day we reared 6 litters of 41 puppies. And we are lucky to say we found super homes for each and every one of them.  Some are trained for Resue, Agility, as Therapy dogs or work with small or special children. They still enjoy a good retrieve as well. 

We live in a small village called Rimbach, which lies in the County of Cham.  It belongs to the beautiful Woods of the Upper Bavarian Forrest. My Kennelname is taken from the mountain we live nearby. Namend "Hoher Bogen = High Bend.  It´s right there where we take our daily walks with the dogs & keep some special memorys of.

Right now we own 9 Golden which keep us fully entertained.  Our dogs are with us wherever we go. They live in the house and are equal members of our family. Breeding is a family matter and I can count on the help of my whole family whenever I call. Esp. my twinsisters Sabine and Sibille are a real big help and keep me Company on every tour wether for show, training or to see another potential studdog. But also my younger brother Eberhard and my mother Helena do their share to make sure everything is running smoothly. 

My family always owned dogs and we always had German Sheperds. But my loyal affection for the Golden Retriever took it onto another level. Dedicating life to them completely. So today it is my aim to breed Golden that have the correct temperament, outlook, health and still find pleasure in working. Dogs that easily find their place in the hearts of their owners. To this day we haven´t found it in our hearts to let those dogs we cannot breed with go. So we keep a extended happy family. We also have a cat and a dozend Canarybirds. A small remainder of my late fathers hobby.

Between deciding to start breeding and today there has been many ups and also many downs but it was always a learning with and from my dogs. And it was a very good time indeed. It´s not always easy, not always working out from the start but it´s always learning along the way. So today at the beginning of my breeding I hope to be able to breed dogs that give their owners as much pleasure and love as our dogs have given us over the last 10 years. I breed under the strict regulations of DRC / VDH and FCI, compeete in national and international dog shows and train my dogs just for fun at dummy.
